STAR WARS || 2023 Celebration and Big Annoucement

 It’s that time again: Star Wars Celebration is back, and with it comes the inevitable flood of news from a galaxy far, far away. This year’s event takes place in London, and we’re expecting news on Lucasfilm’s future movie efforts during a panel featuring its “current crop of live-action filmmakers.” There should also be some Ahsoka news, as the Disney Plus series is slated to premiere later this year. There are plenty of other Star Wars things coming up that might make an appearance as well: Jedi: Survivor, Skeleton Crew, The Acolyte, the animated anthology Visions, and more projects spanning movies, streaming, and games.


Things kick off on April 7th and will run through the weekend, ending on the 10th. Some of the event will be streamed on the official Star Wars YouTube page, but many of the key panels will not (including the really newsy ones, which mostly start before the streams begin at 8AM ET each day). In non-Star Wars news...



It may be called Star Wars Celebration, but at this year’s event Disney made sure to show off another one of its properties with a trailer for the next Indiana Jones film. The Dial of Destiny (yes, that is the real name) hits theaters on June 30th, but will premiere at Cannes in May.

We already knew The Daniels were set to direct an episode of Disney Plus’ Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series, but at this year’s Star Wars: Celebration (Europe) event, the rest of the directing lineup was revealed to include Jon Watts, David Lowery, Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Lee Isaac Chung.



More Andor is coming... eventually.




We still don’t know when season 2 of Andor will start streaming on Disney Plus, but at Star Wars Celebration we at least learned that production on the show is underway. Now the wait for more B2-EMO begins.

 IPL Highlights for 2023 RCB VS MI  In an IPL match on Sunday, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated the five-time champion Mumbai Indians by an eight-wicket margin thanks to attacking half-centuries from Virat Kohli and captain Faf du Plesiss. In order to lay the groundwork for the chase, which RCB completed in 16.2 overs, du Plessis scored 73 off 43 balls as Kohli continued to bat unbeaten at 82 off 49 balls.
